As we step into new times, with new hopes and dreams, I extend a warm welcome to all the students for selecting L.G.B Girls’ College for your higher studies. Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Girls’ College is the only women’s college of Sonitpur District. Since its inception in 1979, the college has been playing a significant role in its endeavor to further the cause of women’s education in the region. Our aim is to uplift our students not only academically, but also socially, professionally and economically to establish her identity in the society. We focus on discovering, developing and drawing out the hidden talents of our students. We spare no efforts to make their educational experience, meaningful and relevant to the socio economic needs of the times. With experienced and dedicated teachers, our college helps students to realize their goals in life. I encourage all the students to take the advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and actively participate in all the academic and extracurricular activities of the college.
